From Johor Bahru, Melaka is around 210 kilometres and two to two and a half hours — a straightforward domestic run with no checkpoint in the middle. That makes it one of the easier journeys we do and one of the most reliable to schedule. We collect from any JB address, or from Kulai, Senai and the surrounding towns, and take you directly into Melaka. Because there is no immigration stop, the arrival time we give you is the arrival time you can plan around, which is not something we can promise on a cross-border leg.
The old town around Jonker Street and the river is the reason most people go, and it is also the part of Melaka that is hardest to drive in — narrow, one-way in places, and genuinely difficult to park in on a weekend. Being dropped at your hotel door by a driver who then takes the parking problem away with him is worth a good deal on arrival. If you want to see more of the state while you are there, ask about a day charter: the van and driver stay with you and you set the stops, which suits Melaka better than most places given how spread out the sights beyond the centre are.
