Johor Bahru to KLIA is around 330 kilometres up the North–South Expressway, and unlike a Changi run there is no checkpoint in the middle — it is a straight domestic drive. That makes the timing more predictable, but it also makes it long, which is why the departure time deserves thought. For a morning flight out of KLIA or KLIA2 that usually means leaving JB the night before or very early indeed. The two terminals are separate buildings several kilometres apart, so we need to know which one you are flying from — KLIA2 handles most budget carriers, KLIA the rest. Give us the airline and we will confirm it. On a drive this long we plan a rest stop on the expressway so nobody arrives stiff, and we can add more if your group needs them. The van stays yours for the whole journey, luggage stays loaded, and the driver takes you to the departures level of the correct terminal rather than a general drop-off point.

It follows your airline. AirAsia and most budget carriers use KLIA2; Malaysia Airlines and most full-service carriers use KLIA. Send us the flight number and we will confirm the terminal in writing before the day.
For a departure before about nine in the morning it is often the calmer option, and plenty of customers do exactly that. We are happy either way — an overnight drive is a normal booking for us — so tell us which you prefer and we will schedule it.
No. JB to KLIA is entirely within Malaysia, so there is no checkpoint and no immigration stop. That makes the timing considerably more predictable than a cross-border run.
